Ratcatchers Skyboxes have luxury Skyboxes, Sky Castles and Ground Castles in Ratcatchers Hide and Demondrille regions.

The Skybox looks exactly the same as the rental office in Ratcatchers Hide, except fro the office tools, and the Castles look like the office in Demondrille.
The Ground Castle and the Sky Castle are the same, except for the steps outside the door (the Sky Castle has a terrace instead).
You can have more prims at the price of 150 Lindens/week for every 100 more prims, if there are prims available.
You have to pay a fee to join the group (50 lindens), but the rental box will refund you the first time you click it with your group tag on.

Check the 2 rental office if what you are looking for is not available.

There is a small Pier where the tenants can rez their boat.

HOW TO RENT
=========
Pay the rental box and after a while you will get the Landmark.
It may take a while, in the meantime pay attention to the message window (Ctrl+H), you will read some additional instructions, such as how to join the group.

WHEN YOU ARE HOME
=============
When you get the Landmark, the rental box is in your unit and you can teleport there.
Click the rental box with the group tag on to have back the group fee. From now on, click it to have the tenant menu and manage the furniture and the security.
Pay again the rental box to extend your rental, one week at a time.
IMPORTANT: If the rental time expires you have no longer access to your unit. THERE IS NO DELAY.

FURNITURE AND PRIMS
=============
Your unit comes with some basic furniture so that you need not buy your own in a hurry. You can delete part of the furniture or restore the original set by mean of the Furniture menu of the rental box. Delete the items you don’t want to keep and you will gain the corresponding prims. The basic turniture set uses part of the prims that come with your unit.
When you add or remove pieces of furniture the prims counter will update immediately, otherwise it updates every 6 hours.
You will get an IM at any counter update if you have more prims than allowed. You can buy more prim (if available) at a price of 150L for each 100 prims: send a message to the owner for that.

SECURITY
======
When an avatar shows up you can either allow him for a given time, or eject. You will get a blue menu for that.
There is no way to add an avatar in his absence.
Open the tenant menu to manage your security. The following commands are available:
List: print the list of allowed avatars
Open: let the allowed avatars stay in your skybox when you are not there
Close: also the allowed avatars are ejected when you are not there (WARNING: if you crash your visitors get ejected)
Start: start the detector
Stop: stop the detector (everyone is allowed)
AutoEject: all unknown visitors are ejected automatically (without asking)
ManualEject: when an unknown visitor arrives a blue dialog will ask you what to do
Reset: Reset the allowed avatar list (WARNING: in AutoEject mode, if you have visitor they will be ejected)
Done: Close the blue dialog doing nothing.
If you don’t press any button, or press the button Ignore, a timeout will occur and the dialog will no longer have affect. You will be asked again after a while.

RADIO AND TV
========
You can deed your own radio and tv to the group. When you do that please remember that:
- You can’t move the radio or tv after deeding, so find a good position before deeding
- You can’t have it back. Only the group owner can give it back to you.
- You can’t edit its internal notecards, so do all the settings before deeding
At the end of the rental you will have your radio and/or tv back if it is TRANSFER.

THE GROUP
=======
You can invite your friend to the group. The will have to pay the fee and won’t be refunded.
Please do inform the group owner if you invite someone, so they won’t be ejected until you leave.

This is a great price for a good skybox just 375 lindens for 250 prims (and basic furniture included)

How get your first Second life home in 24 hours (or less!)!!! (and 3!)

We, already have 18 lindens (!) (see the post above, Second life tutorial renting your first second life house).

Now, according our Second life tutorial turbo-fast (lol) (  First day in Second life and A free house in 24 hours ), we visit Merchandise for men and wait until the Lucky chair send me the lounger. Its easy, 4-5 minuts!

Remember! We dont stop visiting Payingplaces (search ir in your Sl browser) andPopularpages. Need more free lindens still to reach mi goal (50 lindens and my first second life home, the rental price is 50 lindens / week there are another cheaps and cheapest second life rentals, but this is the best (and the min. i have found)  to have fun with it).

Uff 39 lindens!. I need 50 free lindens, just 11 free lindens more! Go!

I visit PippermintBlue (if you’re a girl) or boy secondmax if you (or you visit both boy or girl) and you can get free, quality, free hair, free skins, avatars free, lingerie … I’ve almost got everything to begin with dignity in Second Life, but probably not a great variety of underwear or shoes. In You can also visit two other smaller sites, but very interesting and Fabfree and The free dove to get other special freebies: hair, eyes, avatars, groups ….

Off course, I continue making random friends around secondlife.

And yes, after a couple oh hours, l’m a resident of second life with a nice appearance, and some money in my pocket.

Now, I can rent a Second life cheap rentals or a Second life cheapest rentals . Just read those confidentials and try it! Me, I try pay 50 for a little skybox I can use to rezz furniture for fun (chek Second life cheap rentals).

There are, seems, another option to do it just for 20 lindens, but this rental service never have a apartment or sky box available.

There are another cheapest options, but, probably, you  have  zero fun here, just a point to dressing or set your second life home landmark. You can check Second life cheapest rentals.

I try work until I get 50 lindens an the, rent a Ami rentals  cheap sky box.

After payment (50 lindens (free lindens!) I get my first second life house, just a few hours after I join it!

We receive anemail from SL with a link to activate our account. So, I click over it and the registration process ends (you must download the second life script, off course).

Then, I can login in the second life browser (you download it previously do you remember?).

Well there are a lot of people today.  Nice. Our goal is not only get free lindens, but get a lot of new friends too!

Well, I start in the second life base (hall or bay city airport or similar SL base area), just at 3.00 pm second life time, and with 0 lindens in our pocket:

Instead, first, I join Payingplaces (search ir in your Sl browser) and Popularpages to win free lindens visiting amazing second life places.  I start visiting places, but I stay doint I a while to…

(Well I met some people (women) and talking around and making friends expend some time,lol).

Become a nice Second life resident in 24 hours!

Second life will be play in many ways, and there are many and very different paths to follow. In this article we talk about a possible proposal; about  a possible way to start playing SL.
This article discussed how to get some basic things Secondlife in the shortest possible time after registering in Secondlife.

And when we talk about basic things, we mean, first, things needed to have fun in Secondlife, to start enjoying the game sooner, rather than waiting weeks and weeks to get it, basic things or spend hours doing boring  camping.

My first 24 hours in Second Life. A proposal.

Spacious and nice -see the price-, but with 20 prims you maybe think dont have enought for really enjoy your rental. Just for dress ot set a home landmark, there are anothers  really cheapest rentals services (see our Second life cheapest rentals ).
Bur if .and only IF) you have a 4 prims longue (check our First day in Second life tutorial guide) or some similar low prim furniture (there are some high price and amazing  furniture whit just 8 prims inSL),so, yes is a great way to cheap  rents in SL.  Amazing price and limited but full fun, if you have the right furniture (or personal balls,etc).

Not only afordable, but really enjoyable SL cheap rent with the “must have” low prim furniture.

Not to mention the MLP (Multi-love-position) bed! (which could cost you a lot if bought yourself!) Come see for yourself :)

The landlord will not answer support IMs from tenants in the Green Room Rentals, unless for special reasons.

- Prims can not be placed in these special changing room only rentals. (if you need to place things, please rent another one of our units).
- No Scripts or objects causing lag.

RENT IS REFUNDABLE, simply click the rental box and choose “refund” on the menu. Note: there is an admin surcharge.

No shouting please. Your neighbors will here you, and it’s just unneccesary.

In general, be nice, and use your common sense. Specifically, we would ask you to…

1.- REZZ YOUR PRIMS.
You need join the rentals office group and enable it in your profile.

2. PAYMENTS.
Pay your rent on time. Time is always added to the *end* of the lease, so you lose nothing by paying early, and if you plan to be away from SL, paying ahead will cover your absence.

3. PRIM LIMITS.

Stay within your prim limits. If you rez more than your allowance, one of your neighbours will be unable to rez *their* allowance, so be kind. Keep your things within your walls on in your garden. Some rentals coming with free furniture and, sometimes, you can delete it and rezz yours, but read your renting rules or im the owner before do anything out of rules.

4.-BEHAVIOR.
Please live and let live. Don’t upset your neighbours by running laggy scripts, flying spaceships through their living rooms, or setting off nuclear devices. And don’t be too easily upset either.
If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, or fall into arrears, you may lose your skybox without refund: so please don’t. In return, it’s only fair we follow a rule too, so we’ll…
Leave you in peace and privacy to enjoy your home.

No harassment, griefing, pushing, or causing any kind of bad behavior to other tenants or the property.

5 .SECURITY

The reclusion and sheer altitude of our skyboxes mean that you will probably never be troubled by strangers in one, and even apartments are seldom visited by anyone except their residents. However, if an unwelcome visitor refuses to leave, you have powers you do not have in public places.
Fiirst.- Right-click the intruder and select “Freeze” to prevent them moving
Second.- Right-click them and select “Eject” to teleport them away
(Those steps are just an example. The security system is not the same in all rentals offices.)
If you eject someone, you will be asked if you wish to ban them. If you do, they will be *permanently* unable to enter Bright Corporation Rentals airspace.
Please note that security gadgets simply don’t work in rentals, as in Second Life gadgets can only eject people if they belong to the land-owner. They are also laggy, annoying, and you really don’t need them.

First aid: report your rental owner the unwelcome visitors.

6. VISITORS AND PARTNERS
You can invite visitors to your home whenever you like: just tp them in :)

However, to keep our rentals private for you, rentals do not allow unaccompanied strangers, or landmarks (as these get handed out), so to share your skybox with a friend, partner, or “alt”, make them a resident too. The system todo it will vay and, even, your rentals poffice perhads dont have security system!.
An example: Just click your rent box and click “Resident 2″. You will hear “Please ask the second resident to say ‘/27650 hello’.” The number will vary: like a PIN number. Ask your partner to say the phrase near the rent box: when it hears ‘/27650 hello’ it will record their name as second resident. They should join, propably, the rentals SL group, allowing them to set home position, rez prims within your allowance, and come and go as you do without paying additional rent.

7.- After your rental period ends, you must RESIGNE IT!

If you dont do it, then you remain as virtual rental owner and you start to receive messages like:

You are now 1 day behind on your rental payments, You are now 2 days behind on your rental payments...etc.

Finally, you will be ejected from the rental. So, after your rental periode ends, click over the Resing link (or similar one).

8.-  TV/RADIO

Please wear the group tag when placing furniture or operating audio and visual equipment.

Take care: no all tv services are the same.

9. VISITING HOMES BEFORE RENTING
Please note: no all rentals services allow you to this and the system will vary from a rental service to another
An example:
1. Use one of the landmarks below to teleport to a site offering your chosen style of home (if there are stiles t chose).
2. You will land in one of our lobbies. Click the green button for a list of “homes at this site”.
3. A menu box with a list of homes will appear: click the button for a “VACANT” home.
4. When you “hear” a teleport link: open your chat window and click it.
5. You’ll land outside the vacant home, under the rent box. Go in and have a look around!

Offering over 150 low-cost homes across Second Life, Bright Corporation Rentals seems a good option to renting for cheap in Second life.

The Brigt corporarion sky chaklets and all skyboxes are too high for avatars to fly without a “flight assist” gadget: which is nice as it means there are far fewer people floating about up here. If you don’t have one, drag the “Flight Feather” below into your inventory, right click it, and select “Wear”. It will enable you to fly to any height anywhere in Second Life.

RENTING A HOME

Would you like to live here? It’s easy!

1. Right-click the rent box and click “Pay”.
2. Click a button to pay 1, 2, 4 or 8 weeks rent. You will now receive your free gifts!
3. Press “Control+F”, click the “All” tab, search for & open “Bright Corporation Rentals”, and “View Full Profile”.
4. Click “Join ($50)” (the $50 is refunded on leaving). As a member, you can rez things.
5. Click “World” and “Set Home To Here”. Now Control+Shift+H gets you home!

At the end of your stay, collect your prims, click the rent box, and click “Leave”. If you are not in arrears, IM Shan Bright and you will get back the $50 you paid to join the group.

FURNITURE AND PRIMS

FREE GIFTS: You will find two new folders in your Inventory: “Welcome!”, with a copy of this notecard, and “Welcome-gifts!”, with your Uniprim furniture, TV, and Web-Radio. If you ever need fresh copies of these, just click the rent box for its menu, and click “Welcome kit”.

REZZING: Make sure the words “BrightCorp Resident” are floating over your head. If they aren’t, right-click your avatar, click “Groups”, click “Bright Corporation Rentals”, and click “Activate”. Then just drag items from your Inventory onto the ground to rez them.

RUGS: Be careful rezzing rugs and other thin objects! SL rezzes things slightly too low, so they can sink into the floor and be hidden, but still take up your prim count. To put down a rug, rez it on top of another object, right-click it and click “Edit” so that three arrows appear through it, and drag down the blue arrow to pull it to the floor.

PRIM LIMITS: You can keep 25 prims in an apartment, 40 prims in a chalet, 80 in a loft, 150 in a suite, and 250 in a villa. The total number of prims available at each rental site is fixed, so please don’t rez (or even temp-rez) more, or we may have to “return” them – right away, and at your own risk – simply to make sure there is still space for your neighbours to rez *their* prims.

COUNTING PRIMS: To count the prims in an object, right-click it, and click “Edit…” to display its information window. Near the top-right you will see (for example) “Selected objects: 1, primitives 5″.

If you use the Uniprims, each item is 1 prim, so 25 items of furniture = 25 prims, 40 items = 40 prims, etc!

To count the prims in your skybox, click your rent box. It will display your prim count, and a series of buttons. It is updated every five minutes, but if you think it might be out of date, click “Refresh”.

EXTRA PRIMS: You can rent more prims for $2/prim/week: just IM Shan Bright and tell her how many you would like. Don’t worry if she is offline, she’ll adjust your rent box the next time she is on. You needn’t send any money to her, but we do ask that your rent box is paid up for at least four weeks before we add prims.

(Example: Philip Linden is renting a Sky Loft for $150/week, with 80 prims. His is paid up for one week. He pays $450 into his rent box to bring this up to four weeks, and IMs Shan Bright asking for 40 prims extra. His rent goes up by $80 to $230/week, and his lease drops from four weeks to 18 days.)

TV AND RADIO

In “Welcome-gifts!” you will find your Bright TV and Bright Web-Radio, boxed and with instructions.

The Bright TV uses a “public” ariel provided at each site, so unlike most TVs it does not need to be “deeded”. You can use it to watch video or display web pages. The Bright Web-Radio lets you and your guests tune into internet radio stations which play through your web browsers.

As in most places where rented homes share the same piece of land, you can’t use ordinary SL televisions and radios, as they work by changing “stream” settings for the land, so each time you changed station, *everyone* would change station. But the free TV and web-radio provided will let you enjoy entertainment without disturbing your neighbours, or their disturbing you.

VISITORS AND PARTNERS

You can invite visitors to your home whenever you like: just tp them in :)

However, to keep our rentals private for you, we do not allow unaccompanied strangers, or landmarks (as these get handed out), so to share your skybox with a friend, partner, or “alt”, make them a resident too. Just click your rent box and click “Resident 2″. You will hear “Please ask the second resident to say ‘/27650 hello’.”

The number will vary: like a PIN number. Ask your partner to say the phrase near the rent box: when it hears ‘/27650 hello’ it will record their name as second resident. They should join “Bright Corporation Rentals” as you did. Their $50 is not returned, but a one-time fee, allowing them to set home position, rez prims within your allowance, and come and go as you do without paying additional rent.

And if you ever wish to remove their name, click the rent box and click “Clear 2″.

SECURITY

The seclusion and sheer altitude of the sky chalets mean that you will probably never be troubled by strangers in one, and even apartments are seldom visited by anyone except their residents. However, if an unwelcome visitor refuses to leave, you have powers you do not have in public places.

1. Right-click the intruder and select “Freeze” to prevent them moving
2. Right-click them and select “Eject” to teleport them away

If you eject someone, you will be asked if you wish to ban them. If you do, they will be *permanently* unable to enter Bright Corporation Rentals airspace.

Please note that security gadgets simply don’t work in rentals, as in Second Life gadgets can only eject people if they belong to the land-owner. They are also laggy, annoying, and you really don’t need them.

HOW TO RENT
Resident Instructions:


*  If the Property is available, simply right-click the rental box and pay for one or more weeks to get started.

* When you pay the rental box it will shrink and move up displaying your name and the whole days of your rental period. Touch the box to see your rental status and prim count and also add a partner too. You can make payments to increase your time left whenever you like. You will also recieve a notecard with instructions to use the windows, doors, security, radio and television.

* When rent payment is recieved,  make sure you recieve your group invite to  the Cascade Rentals group.

* Wear the Cascade group tag to place anything in your Home. If you have someone living with you, have that person join the group too so that they can rez prims within your home.

* You will recieve a LM once you rent to help you TP back from anywhere in SecondLife
* When you recieve your group tag you can Set Home To Here.
